SyncAI SA takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we process, why, on what basis, for how long, and what rights you can exercise.
This policy has been prepared in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we also comply with it.

2. Data we process
a) When you visit the website
Access to the website generates technical data processed by our hosting provider: IP address, date and time of the request, page viewed, browser type and operating system, referring page. This information is used to ensure the operation, security and stability of the website. It is not used to identify you.
b) When you write to us by email
We process your contact details and the content of your message in order to respond.
3. Why we process this data and on what basis

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making. We do not sell or rent your data. We do not add you to any mailing list solely because you sent us an email.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to the people at SyncAI SA who need it to process your request. The team consists of three people.
We use the following service providers. They act as processors and are bound by confidentiality and security obligations:

At the end of these periods, the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies and audience measurement
This website does not use cookies for audience measurement, advertising or social networks. Only cookies that are strictly necessary for the operation of the website may be placed, for example to remember your language choice. They do not require your consent and do not allow you to be identified.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access: encryption of exchanges with the website (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised personnel, and keeping systems up to date.
No transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We recommend that you do not send confidential information by email.
8. Your rights
Under the FADP, and the GDPR where it applies, you may request:
- access to the personal data we process about you;
- rectification of inaccurate data;
- erasure of your data, subject to our statutory retention obligations;
- restriction of processing, or you may object to it on grounds relating to your situation;
- receipt or transmission of your data in a commonly used format, where the conditions are met.
To exercise these rights, write to contact@syncai.ch. We may ask you for proof of identity to avoid disclosing your data to a third party. We respond as soon as reasonably possible.
If the GDPR applies, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
9. Our brand websites and external links
Our Athena and ApplyNow brands have their own websites. When you follow a link from this website, this policy ceases to apply and the policy of the website you visit applies instead. We encourage you to read it.
10. Changes
We may adapt this policy, in particular if our processing activities or the regulations change. The version published on this page is the authoritative version.
